Well, I was starting to feel all high and mighty. I'd survived several rounds of the flu at work, 2 rounds at home, and the illness of most of my teammates. I thought it was due to my superior nutrition, fitness and sleep. I was a pillar of productivity at work.
And then....
Yesterday, after doing my roller workout and having my 2nd breakfast, I was sitting at work, and my throat started to itch way, way down. All I could think about was grabbing a back scratcher and sticking it down my throat. I was hoping it was allergies. But, alas, today I am achy and run-over feeling and the throat is now tender rather than itchy. I'm doubling up on my naps in the hope that I will be well for Snelling next weekend.
Sigh.

Poor sweet thing. Just relax, take it easy, work on getting better. I will take care of everything else for now. And it is looking like you may be going for the triple nap day.
Hope you feel better soon.
oh no! get better soon!
:(
b-b-bummer. chilax and recover fast.
hey all,
Thanks! I'm feeling a bit better tonight than last night. Knocking on wood that the chilaxing is leading to quick recovering. Oh, and for the record, I only had 2 naps yesterday!
chatterbox,
if you get off with just a few days of flu, you are lucky! That thing took me out for almost a week, and I *never* get sick (literally, i hadn't had a cold or flu for like 3 years...and this one took me down hard)! Anyway, i sure wasn't what I hoped to be for the AZ stage race...but I finished! :-)
Chicken soup, naps, no stress...you'll be back at it in no time!
Chatterbox - yes, you took only two naps on Saturday. But you were heading to #3 when I posted the comment, just never arrived.
Doc Kim - only one week? You got off easy! I, too, never get sick. But I got whacked in early January, thought I had it licked in less than a week, but it took me back down for almost two more. Blech!
be careful. take it easy. that thing seems to last forever. and then slowly comes back again.
